How To Find Home Business Prospects LOCALLY....

"Where are all the good network marketing prospects at?

Many networkers seem convinced they don't live anywhere near them!

I say that because they'll spend hundreds of dollars a month on leads or genealogies all the while insisting that there are no decent prospects in their area.

Fact is, there are. (No matter how small of a town or city you live in).

Virtually everywhere there are people who would like to change their lifestyle, but who have no clue how to do that. There are also people in need of your product or service.

So, what's the best way to "tap in" to this goldmine of MLM prospects known as the "local market"?

We'll answer this by approaching it from two directions:

1) People you naturally come in contact with and

2) Services that can put you in contact with even more people who may be candidates for your opportunity (or product/service).

To get started, let's define terms.

"Local Market Prospects" refer to people who live or work in the same general area as you. In other words, people you come in contact with (or COULD come in contact with) on a daily basis.

They are not necessarily people you know (although they can be).

Approach Number One: Think about places you go and the people you cross paths with and practice alert living. Be on the lookout for sharp prospects wherever you go.

Example: You visit a local restaurant. You have a sharp, friendly food server who catches your attention. Right away, you observe this person has great people skills, a strong work ethic and is "on the ball".

Here's how you can EASILY prospect this person. Let's call him "John", and here's what you can say:

John, listen want to thank you for your great service this afternoon, it's some of the best service I've had in a restaurant this year (Now at this, "John" should be all smiles as you've just paid him a well deserved compliment). You then proceed: Listen John, I own a business here in the area and always keep an eye out for sharp people and you definitely caught my attention today. Let me ask you a question: do you keep your work options open? (Now, if John really is a sharp, heads-up person what's he gonna say? Obviously "yes", to which you respond): Good for you, John. I think you'll be glad you do! Tell you what, you're working right now and I'm busy myself, I'm heading off to meet someone, but let's do this.

Let me get your contact information and I'll drop you a line tomorrow (or when he get's off later the same day) and give you some more information on our opportunity and who we're looking for and see if we've got a match". Then you simply write down his information and you've just generated a strong local lead. Now, what makes it so strong is this: you've had a chance to MEET your prospect personally, observe their work ethic, their personality, and their people skills. How much stronger is THAT than simply calling a prospect "cold" on the phone? This is powerful.

And it's not just limited to restaurants (although people in this industry often make excellent networkers). No, you can do this in virtually anywhere.

Approach Number Two: Now, what can you do to come into contact with qualified local prospects in a "leveraged way"?

Join a lead referral network!

These are groups that meet locally and refer prospects to one another.

You simple attend a small meeting in your area and share a little about yourself and your business and you can immediately tap into the leveraged power of business networking.

RMP Infotec Businesses is Needed for Prosperity

Economic stability is critical to bringing prosperity into a region, whether that region is a country or a state. When there is economic stability, goods and services are sold regularly and as a result, businesses prosper.

When businesses prosper, more jobs are created. As more jobs are created, more money is available to go around. More money means more prosperity and so on. When it comes to the economy, more spending is always good. Of course this does not apply to individuals. For the individual, saving money is better, but since we are talking about the economy here, let's focus on what's good for the economy as a whole.

So in order for money to be spent, of course more opportunities to make money have to be created.RMP Infotec has created and continue to create opportunities for people to make extra money. Many of these people have gone on to become millionaires and have extremely profitable independent small businesses.

In today's world of big corporations where small businesses are becoming a rare breed, RMP Infotec creates thousands and thousands of independent small businesses that can be of enormous benefit to the economy. Why? Because small businesses can keep the economy moving and keep it stable.

One reason for that is that these independent RMP Infotec business have very little overhead, they can be operated on a shoestring budget. Also they can be done on a part-time basis while Network Marketers keep their jobs. People Involved in RMP Infotec mostly don't realize that they are actually helping the economy become more stable. They are generating an independent source of income that is not dependent on their jobs.

In an unfortunate event, if they lose their employment for whatever reason, they have an independent source of income that can sustain them. This brings stability to the economy where more people are consistently spending money to keep the economy moving forward. Also, a Home Based RMP infotec Business can significantly supplement one's income, which can create more spending.

Please note that here I am not talking about pyramid schemes and other money games that are illegal and unethical. I am referring to legitimate opportunities offered by RMP Infotec which offers competitive prices and high quality products. You simply buy your products from them instead of a regular store, without spending any more money than you would normally spend. You promote their products and the business opportunity, and for that you get paid as an independent business owner.

Being Proactive in RMP Infotec Is The Key

I am currently reading Stephen R. Covey’s classic book entitled “The 7 Habits of Highly Effective People”. Even though this book has nothing to do with RMP Infotec Biz, there are principles found here that would be of giant worth to us if implemented in our businesses.

Perhaps I’ll write more articles as I read further into the book, but for now, I’d like to focus on being proactive in RMP Infotec biz. I know we could all become more successful by simply deciding to be the kind of representatives who act instead of being acted upon, which is one of the most important parts of being proactive.

I have been tempted many times, as I’m sure many RMP infotec reps have, to be reactive in my business when anything goes wrong. When a rep is reactive, they would say things like, “If only I had a better downline/upline”, or “That person on my team makes me so angry all of the time!” When we are reactive, we think that because something has gone wrong in our business, such as downline reps quitting the business or someone else signing up a rep that we had prepared that there is nothing we can do and all is lost. Sometimes that sense of despair leads to negativity creeping into our minds until we have changed our mind about our company and begin to badmouth it.

It goes without saying that things go wrong in our businesses and that sometimes those things set us back some time or dollars. The difference, though, is in how we react to the setbacks, and if we come out a better rep or not. If we are proactive reps, we understand that while we can’t control some things that happen, we can control how we react to those things. Covey says that we may either act or be acted upon, but when we are the actors, we decide what affects us and what doesn’t. If our downline rep does something dumb, we acknowledge that we control our own feelings and that only we can make ourselves mad. If we are tempted to say “if only I had better reps”, then being proactive would mean we would say, “I will be better myself so that my reps can learn what it takes to succeed”.

No matter which mlm business opportunity we join, there will be reactive people and negativity. Unfortunately, these are usually the people who quit and then badmouth our industry. I really like Covey’s insights as applied to RMP Infotec because they can help us to understand that by being proactive and focusing first on ourselves and our own needs for improvement, we can shape the attitudes of those who would potentially become destroyers of our industry. It all begins with you and me and the proactive behavior we bring into our work in RMP infotec Biz.

5 Phases Of MLM : Network Marketing

MLM As an industry has primarily gone through 5 phases wherein each phase has a different methodology of doing the business.

Phase one was more about Amway Door to Door Sales phase which I feel is no longer existing anywhere in the world.

Phase two was all about one to one plans , home meetings , hotel meetings etc….Which is still one of the most preferred ways to do business in many countries where MLM as an industry is less than 10 years old.In Countries like US , I feel That this phase is slowly and slowly taking a back seat.

Phase three of MLM is all about Using Modern Day Tools like prospecting Cd’s , Toll – Free Numbers , Tele-conferencing…Etc..Which is ofcourse very widely used . However has just started in many new countries in MLM market like India , Sri-lanka etc…

Phase four Is all about Internet and replicating websites.This phase is going in a big way in Developed Countries like U.S. , Australia , U.K etc…To add to the kit are now powerline systems which create a fear of loss…..However in New Markets of MLM like India , Israel and other places , Local companies are not yet having these advanced systems and hence lot of potential is there.

Phase Five is something which has really changed the Way people take MLM.It is all about Attraction Marketing where in you attract the right target market by giving them useful information for free. Mike Dillard is one gentleman Which Literally started this new revolution and was followed very closely with others like Ann Sieg , Daegan Smith , Paul Birdsall , Joe Schroeder , Dale Calvert etc..

Phase five is literally a new wave to build MLM in all the countries and success is literally guaranteed if done in the right way.However in New Markets where MLM as an industry is less than 10 years old , even phase 4 and phase 3 offer a lot of opportunity.

In fact we just pulled names straight out of the telephone book. A through Z....

So as a 'newbie' I blindly dialled as many numbers as I could and followed what everyone else did.

Something like this...

"Hi...Is that Mr Smith?"

"Great...This is Ankur Agarwal calling. How are you this evening?"

"Good. We're offering free new window estimations for people in
your area...Are you interested?"

Well...I'm sure you've guessed the reaction of 99% of people on the other end.

Bar the extrovert's, very young, very old and just plain bored, no one wanted to speak to me...Let alone buy any windows...

You see, the thing is that whatever medium you are using whether it's the phone, the written word, the internet, the radio or indeed the television you only have a few seconds to identify who has an initial need, want or desire for your products or services, grab their people attention with the vice like grip of a King Cobra and hold it for long enough to get them to do what you want...It's really that simple...

Now...There's an awful lot more to this than just that...BUT...Do one of the following two things and your success will rocket immediately...

1. Scare the wits out of them...I don't mean creep up
behind them and say 'boo'...Rather worry them badly about
something that affects them...

2. Promise them something ridiculous...But it does need to be
true...Unless you want to 'go to jail, go directly to jail, do not
pass go and do not collect ??200...Whoops, sorry, that's Monopoly...

So ...Knowing this, my window conversations would be just a little bit different...

Don’t get surprised with my honesty.It has been almost two years I have been trying to market online but until last 30 days I have not made even 1$ online by being able to sell ebooks or some affiliate stuff.

Network Marketing is a surefire way for you to make enough money for a lifetime, provided you know how to go about it in the right manner. There are countless ways for one to be successful in an Network Marketing business, just one of them being able to answer any and every queries. There are, of course, many questions that people you pitch may ask, from time to time. However, most of these questions are simple and can be answered randomly, but there is one question that everyone finds difficult to answer or skirt - How much do you make.

Let us first talk about the reasons that one should avoid this question. For one, putting figures to the Network Marketing plan means that the person ahead gets an idea that even they will be earning that amount of money - right from day one. This would be one of the most negative to do to a new joinee - set up a limit or benchmark for them to meet right from day one.

One should remember that such kind of questions are make or break questions for the prospective Network Marketing.

Secondly, Network Marketing depends completely on the person signing up, and it all depends on how much time you can put in for the Network Marketing and how much time they can. Therefore, you might be restricting a person from using his actual earning potential by telling them how much you actually make.

Unfortunately, there are little or no ways to avoid the how much do you make question. Simply speaking, this type of question be mostly a direct question, and not answering it may be more damning for your Network Marketing business as compared to answering it truthfully.

Actually, the simplest way to skirt a question is to ask another question. Therefore, the best way you can skirt this question is by asking the prospect 'how much they wish to make?', to take a more blatant approach, you can subtly tell them that how much you make has nothing to do with how much they can make. You can also make them realize that how much money a person makes from the Network Marketing business depends on the amount of time and resources they invest, and the level of dedication they have for the Network Marketing business.

Of course, not everyone understand the nuances of personal business and finance. Therefore, you can subtly ask them a return question, like, when can I see how much they are making?

There are, of course, many situational aspects which can have you skirt the question. But this works only when you do not make a show of you skirting this crucial question. Remember that how much you make is nobody's business and is something called as personal information. So, do not bend over backwards by answering that question for a single sign up. And even then, if you do answer the question, the answer will always be taken with a pinch of salt and seldom believed in.

These and other suggestions will ensure that you have a fruitful and successful time as a Network Marketing businessman.

However there was just a minor issue.he wanted to realize his dreams without making any financial commitments . He wanted to make money fast but never wanted to spend money on advertising for his business exposure.
All that he was ready to pay was the initial set up fees and then dreaming about making money by doing nothing.
I am sure now you can see the problems in which he will be falling into.Just because you have decided to build over internet doesnot mean that you are going to build it totally free or else it will eat up lot of your time and will require double the work.

True - In pre-launch phase we get many advantages in terms of being close to company's management , getting in some heavy hitters but at the same time you have to work extra hard as there is no system in place .

In an old established MLM systems are usually in place and if you do just what you are supposed to do you can make good money.

So analyze yourself.If you have the guts to go out in open and promote a new concept without much of upline support , join a new concept like MyVideoTalkIndia however if you still feel you are a new bie and need guidance, join an Established company like RMP Infotec , Goldquest , Questnet , Ebiz , Smart Value

Rather than spending time on analyzing the answer to this question and waisting your time like an idiot , go and improve yourself .Go and improve your phone skills, your looks , your public speakign capabilities , your internet marketing knowledge and become larger than life.

I was doing some coaching last week
and the client I was speaking to
said to me:

"Anbkur, I need more leads"

There's no doubt we've all thought
this statement to ourselves a bajillion
times...but then it hit me like a ton of bricks

The reality is:
NO, You Don't Need More Leads!
Let me explain.
What do you do when you get a lead?
1. You contact them
2. You see if they're interested in
your opportunity
3. You either sign them up (if they're interested)
OR - you just move on to the next one

What most people don't understand though is that this methodology is flawed

To understand why it's flawed we have to understand a little bit about human nature.
Human beings are more likely to act
based on the recommendation of someone
they know, like, and trust.

When you first contact a lead you do not meet ANY of these 3 criteria.
Therefore it's always a little bit
harder to "sell" them on your opportunity
This is why we must stop looking at people as "leads" and start looking at them as fellow entrepreneurs who we're looking to form a relationship with.

This is why INTERNET marketers build "lists".

This is why I have a "list"

Rather than constantly trying to get more leads and then close them on a particular opportunity - Instead, I seek out like minded individuals, and form a relationship with them via e-mail and the internet.

Then...when ANY opportunity arises I have a group of like minded people to share it with
So remember - stop thinking of people as "leads"

Instead, focus on forming a relationship with them regardless of whether or not they join your business.

A Great Openening Sentence!!!

I was at a restaurant in Charleroi, Belgium with my friend,
Jean-Philippe. After ordering our drinks, Jean-Philippe
asks the waiter:

"Are you married to your job or are you open-minded?"

Everyone wants to be considered as having an open mind,
so the waiter responds:

"Yes, of course I am open-minded. You know, this
job doesn't pay enough for me."

Jean-Philippe gives the waiter his card and casually says:
"We'll talk later."

This opening sentence opens the door for you. Not only
will the prospect be more receptive to hearing a presentation,
your prospect will also try to give your presentation a fair
hearing.

What more can you ask for?

Simple sentences and questions like this will build
your business. Network marketing leaders work hard on
perfecting these sentences and questions.

Later in the day, Jean-Philippe and I were back at the
same restaurant. The waiter was still working. He was
supposed to get off work hours earlier. And he was busy.
In fact, he was the only waiter and the restaurant was
was very crowded.

When the waiter sees Jean-Philippe, he smiles. He knows
he wants to talk to Jean-Philippe. He is motivated.

So what do you do next?

You could set an appointment to talk to the waiter
when he gets off work. You could give the waiter your
card and tell him you will call later.

Or, you could invite the waiter to a conference call,
an opportunity meeting, or even set an appointment
to visit with your sponsor in person or via a
three-way call.

Maybe you could just give the waiter a CD to listen
to on his way home.

Or, just give the waiter your "One-Minute Presentation"
- and then if he was interested, you could talk more
when the waiter had a break.

As I was flipping through the channels a great movie thatI hadn't seen in a while came on - "Men of Honor" starringRobert Di Nero and Cuba Gooding Jr.

The plot goes . .

Cuba is a African American US navy cook whose life dream isto become a navy diver in a time when there were no nonwhite navy divers.Robert Di Nero is navy master diver who is demoted to drillsergeant because of a violent incident he brought on.(Details not necessary)

Well Cuba's character, after getting into the navy divingprogram is assigned to Robert De Niro as his drill sergeant.Do to his racism and heat up the line of command, De Niromakes in infinitely tougher on Cuba to get through theprogram than his white classmates.But because Cuba's drive to achieve his end is no less thanconcrete, he doesn't miss a step no matter what his drillsergeant throws at him.

In a key seen, De Niro tells Cuba to "Go home Cookie." When Cuba doesn't back down De Niro ask him "Why won't youquit!"

Cuba answers "I'll never give up!"(Of course, I'm paraphrasing all this.)

Well it comes down the last day of training for the new navydiver hopefuls and they are giving as a final exam the taskof putting together a series of tubes in the frigid darkdeep waters around their training ground.The men are sent down and then so are the pieces of tubing,screws and tools in a separate bag.Well, when it came Cuba's turn Di Nero cut the bag open sothe pieces of the tubing would be scattered around the seabottom.

As you can imagine all the other navy diver hopefulsfinished within hours of getting their bags of tools andtubing while Cuba was left at the bottom searching the seafloor in the cold darkness of night to find his piece andassemble his project.

At any point Cuba's character could have quit and come up,but he didn't.His dream was to be a navy diver and that was what he wasgoing to be.After over 9 hours and almost succumbing to severhypothermia he assembled the tubing right before beingyanked out of the water unwillingly.Nothing and no one could stop him from achieving his goaleven if it meant he might die in the process.This was an extremely powerful and inspiring lesson to watchon a Sunday night before going back to work.Cuba's desire to become a navy diver in the movie meant morehim than his life. With that sort of drive there is no way he could have failedshort of dying.

He overcame every obstacle because it was inconsequential tohis goal.

So I ask you . . .What does your time freedom mean to you?

How willing are you to pay the necessary price to grow the huge network marketing organization you dream of?

What if it takes you 5 years to get to the point in yourbusiness that you want to to live the life you dream?Will you be there?If your DREAM is big enough I guar antee you'll be therestill pushing no matter how dark or frigid things get.

Did you know that there is a GIGANTIC difference between having a productive day versus simply having a busy day? I can't tell you how many people I know, whom I have worked with personally, who THOUGHT that they were being productive in their home businesses, only to find out that they were simply staying conducting menial tasks that meant nothing to their bottom line. Folks...in the end, the only thing that matters is PRODUCTION. What did you produce today?

In fact, here's a GREAT TIP to help keep you on track. I do it. It works! Take out a piece of paper and write down the following words:WHAT DID I PRODUCE TODAY ???Now...post it someplace you HAVE TO SEE IT DAILY. The bathroom mirror, your computer monitor. Put it someplace where you CANNOT MISS IT. That is the important part. Reading it daily and asking yourself that simple question. If you want to make it in this industry, you must PRODUCE. Being busy doesn't cut it. Being productive is all that matters.Focus your time conducting Revenue Producing Activities. If it doesn't make you money, then don't do it. I still have yet to meet a person who makes money dusting their desk, organizing their leads, or cleaning up their office files. You MUST spend your limited time in production mode. We are ALL limited to 24 hours in a given day. The question you have to ask yourself is, how am I spending my valuable time??

3 Tips to Help You Stay on Track

Here are some tips to help you make sure you stay ON TRACK, in PRODUCTION MODE, and stay away from simply being busy.

1. If you are involved in Network Marketing, spend all of your prospecting, presenting, closing and training. Nothing else really matters.

2 . If you need to conduct tasks that keep you "busy" (i.e. writing auto-responder letters, producing training documents for your team, etc.), do it in DOWN TIME. What I mean here is do it when you can't be making phone calls like late at night or very early in the morning.

3. Track yourself and conduct regular self-checks. Log the number of outgoing dials, presentations you made, messages you've left, etc. This will help ensure you are on the right path before it's too late.

Making it in this industry is simple: Proper application of the right activites daily will produce consistent results.Failure is just as simple: Application of the wrong activities daily, and not recognizing that you are doing the wrong things will consistently produce nothing, except frustration and disappointment.This industry works. Network Marketing works. However, YOU have to work (doing the right things) in order for it to work for you.

I Can Tell You What You'll Make next year.............

This may be the most important message you'll receive today...so Iwant you to either print this out to read later...or I want you to reservesome time to read this in its entirety.It's that important.

And it applies to everything you're doing tobecome more successful in life.

Let me tell you a quick story...I have a friend named Tom who's a millionaire.

He's from a thirdworld country and came to the United States with nearly nothing.He and I were having lunch one day and he shared something withme that I've never forgotten.He said, "Ankur, I can tell you within $2,000 how much money you'll makenext year."

I said, "How, Tom? Are you a mind-reader?"Tom replied, "No...I don't have to be.""How would you do it, then?", I asked.He said, "It's easy...just tell me the average incomes of your fiveclosest friends."==>

He had my attention. And I hope I have yours. Because Iwas serious when I said that this was probably the most importantemail you'd get today.

Tom was right, that day. I wasn't doing so good financially and,when I looked, I noticed that none of my friends were either.It's called the LAW OF ASSOCIATION.Or, in plain English: you'll basically become like the people youhang around.

What does this have to do with you, I and your financial future?Simply this:Take a look at who you're spending your time around. Seriously-- don't read any more of this until you've jotted down at leastfive names.1.2.3.4.5.Got them written down? Now, look at them carefully.How are they doing financially? Are they getting ahead? Orare they struggling like you?Are they satisfied with the same old grind of going to a job everyday? Do they make the kind of money you want to make?Now, this is important....I'm not telling you to change your friends. That's not my place.But, the LAW OF ASSOCIATION works. You WILL create alife that's very similiar to the people you hang out with.

And you really only have two choices:

1. Get rid of or limit associations with those who aren't goingin the direction you want to go

2. Create NEW associations with people who ARE going inthe direction you want to go.

For instance, if you've got someone in your life that's alwaysbumming money off you, promising to pay you back and thenthey don't....is that the kind of person you really want to become?Don't you think their thoughts, attitudes and beliefs have aneffect on you that might keep you from seeing opportunitieswhen they arise?

If so, then you'd better get free of that person ifyou expect to create the kind of life you want.Successful people may help those people out of charity. But theydon't allow them to live in their lives on a daily basis.

On the other hand, do you have a few people in your life thatseem to 'have it all together'? If so, then take that person to lunchwithin the next 48 hours.

Now, Jan, you may think I'm being harsh. I'm not. I'm doing youa favor. Because, until you know, understand and use the LAWOF ASSOCIATIONS, then you're probably always going to spinyour wheels right where you are.

"The Fog"

I was up at 8 am this morning to get to answering emailsand get things set up for my team as I usually do and againit's dark and foggy out.
I looked out my window and I could barely see across thestreet. Looking out the window I started to think.I thought . . .How does a ship trying to get to port ever find its way inthe dark fog?
The answer is simple.

The ship's captain even if he has never gone to hisdesignated final port of entry finds his or her way to portwith a few simple tools; a map and a compas s.

I thought this was good analogy to how he all entered intoour internet network marketing businesses.

None of us knew exactly how to get to our final destinationwith our business when we started, but we were given the toolsto navigate our way to our final port.Your ship is your marketing system and your compass and map are your team's tools and sponsors guidance. These tools guide us to our final destinations.

The only difference between a ships captain and us is thatthe ship's captain knows he will get to port as soon as hesets off on his journey while we, on the other hand,sometimes don't carry this same level of faith going intoour business.

We hope that the tools that have been given to us will getus to our final destination, but we don't know as a matterof fact that we will get there.

The reason for this is most of us in netowrk marketing, meincluded, have never set sail in such a business before, sorather than knowing we will reach our desired level ofsuccess, as the ships captain does, we hope we will.

I understand why there is a difference in mindset, so let meexpound on it.If the ship's captain had never seen the sea before hestarted his voyage or met any captains that had successfullygotten to port he would be left with the same hope we hold.

He wouldn't know for sure that would get to port, he wouldhave to trust in his tools and have faith that he would getto port.

After successfully arriving at his destination for the firsttime, the ship's captain, would then have full faith in histools and his ship and their ability to get him to whereverin the world he was called to go.But in that first voyage he would be riddled with fear andtrepidation at every turn in his journey.

Little storms ordetours that would normally be of no consequence would bemagnified his mind as an almost insurmountable obstacles.Well the same thing happens to us all when we set off tocreate a thriving and large organization in our businessesif we have never done it before.When little obstacle come our way we tend to magnify them.

For instance . . .Say you started your business a month ago and after hardstudying and testing you finally carried out your firstsuccessful marketing campaign which brought in 4new people into your team and then two days later 2 of thosepeople that you brought in went inactive.What would you think?

You would most likely immediately think, what's going on?Why are people quitting on me? I worked so hard to get themand now there gone. Does this "thing" really work?A small storm in your path and your first test.What happens at this point is a litmus test for the rest ofyour business. I've seen it happen.

Some people come in allexcited and call me every 3 hours asking for help and adviceand I give it.Then they have their first small success and then they sitback and wait to see what happens next. They want to see ifthey're done - if their new downline will just take over anddo all the work for them.Then 2 out of their first 4 sign ups go inactive on them andthey call me and say what's happening my downline is"going away".

How do I stop it? I say, don't worry about itgo out and market your business some more and support yourpeople that are still there.Some will do this and some won't. Those that won't have lostfaith in their map and compass.They don't think that they work.In their minds, they've used their tools effectively and nowtheir done. It's time for their downline to take over and dothe same. Then when nothing happens for them they say thesystem didn't work.You see they had only understood part of the system.

They thought that once they had set their original headingand flipped on the autopilot switch then they would justfloat into port without any further effort.That's not how it works.You have to use the tools that you have been given to guideyour way all the way to port, not just set a heading and sitback.

You have to keep going, keep using these tools, changing andcorrecting your path when obstacles are put fourth all theway until you get to port.That's how you create success in network marketing oranything else in life.I hope this little rant of mine has helped yourecalibrate your path to success and see through thedark fog that's been put in front of you.

How not To Sell your prospect..................

Hi Friends

I had to take a second and share
this with you because I know
how important results are.

Ok - let's set the stage.

Let's pretend you've got some
sort of system in place that creates
leads for your network marketing opportunity.

Maybe you've captured the information
of your prospect using a lead capture
page on the internet. Or maybe
you had them them listen to a "sizzle call"
of some sort and then leave their contact information.

Regardless of how you got their information, your prospect has expressed an interest and they are waiting to talk to you.

Ok...back to what I was saying
Your prospect has expressed explicit
interest in your opportunity and now
they're ready to talk to you and learn
more about your program.

Yup, that's right...you've now got to "sell"

your prospect on joining your opportunity.
Just to let you know, the reason I even bring all of this up is because a few days ago I expressed an interest in buying some expensive software.

The guy on the other end of the phone
did a HORRIBLE job of "selling" me.

I want to make sure that you don't make the same mistakes that he did.

My experience with this software sales man was so bad that it actually reminded me of a encounter I once had with a gentleman who was trying to "sell" me on joining his network marketing company.
What made both of these experiences soooo horrible?

Simple, they wouldn't shut up!

The second I got on the phone they started telling me all this stuff about

- Here's why my stuff is the best
- No one else can do what I can do
- Here's why the competition is garbage
- blah blah blah

They didn't let me get a word in at all!
And they didn't even ask me ONE question.
So, why's this so bad

Because generally speaking, people don't care how much you know until they know how much you care...AND...people usually won't buy from you if they don't like you.
Besides, "selling" is really about
problem solving, and I can't solve your problems if I don't know what they are.

These 2 gentlemen had it so WRONG that in both cases I was actually on the other end of the phone rolling my eyes, surfing the net, and just saying "uh-huh" every couple of minutes.
I wasn't even listening to them! But they just kept on talking.

So here's the biggest piece of advice
I can give you for when you've got a
prospect on the phone

ASK TONS OF QUESTIONS

This not only shows them that you care
but it also allows them to tell you what's important to them.

Once you know what's important to them, then you'll know what to focus on.

Ask them about everything you can think of:
- how much they want to make
- past business experiences
- how much effort they're willing to put into the business
- kids, family, & other personal stuff
(this builds rapport)
- what they're goals are
- etc...

Now - I don't want you to get to the point where you're just asking questions and you aren't leading them down the path that will end in them joining your company.

Remember to stay on point but also remember that your "job" is to find out how you can help them. And if you just get them on the phone an start beating your chest, you're going to more than likely turn them off

Hi Ankur,

I have a bit of bad news today.

The Mr. Submarine shop at the corner of 24 and 7 in Guelph, Ontario, Canada closed this week.Why should you care? Because I missed out on an opportunity. Perhaps you can learn from my mistake....

I used to eat at that place at least 2-3 times a month for 4 years. I figure that's over 100 meals there. It was on my 'route' between Guelph, Waterloo and London. Back then, I was running the roads, driving the miles and drawing the circles building my network marketing business.

At one point I was doing three hotel meetings a week along that lonely stretch of highway. I wanted to be a success in mlm so bad....I got to be friendly with the owner. She was a nice lady, European I think. Maybe Portuguese or Italian. I never bothered to get her name, but she would always say hi when I stopped in, and I would always say hi back.

I figured I spent about a grand in her sandwich shop. 100 meals, everyone of them identical. A pizza sub, bag of Doritos and a large black coffee for the road.I gave her a thousand bucks, and never once talked to her about business.She probably paid over a $100,000 for her sub shop. And quietly, without any media coverage or fan fair, one day she went bankrupt. She poured 90 hours a week for how many years, only to lose everything?I'll never forget the day I pulled into the parking lot. It was empty.

My brain didn't register. The lights were out. It still didn't register. The place was empty. I thought, 'Wait a minute...something's different.'It was only when I read the Letter of Eviction on the door did it finally sink in. I stood there, the January snow softly falling, numb with disbelief.For four years, over 100 times, I could have shown her a better way. She watched me come in first in jeans, then slacks, then $1500 suits over the years. Driving first a rusty old van, then a VW Passat, then a Jaguar, then a new Mercedes. She would smile sometimes, and say, 'You look nice tonight. Business good, yes?' and I would always nod and grin.

Why didn't I show her my business? She could have made enough to stave off bankruptcy, or even sell the shop and stay at home. No more 90 hours a week on her feet. 15 hours a week, for 3 or 4 years, and she'd have a beautiful residual income.When I realized my selfishness, the feeling of guilt was nearly overwhelming. I know you and I can't save the world. But don't we have an obligation to at least show good people that there is 'a better way"?

I wish I had just opened my mouth. Even the pain of hearing the word "NO" can't compare with the guilt of never saying a word.I would spare you the same....

Here I am sitting at my computer at almost 1 o'clock in the morning working on a giant "to do" list (that I've only got 48 hour to complete) and I cant help but to keep thinking to myself

"What If..."

What if I hadn't quit that network marketing company I joined back in 2002, and another the other one I joined in 2004 (you get the picture)

After all I did make money in both of these companies.

But the reality is that when things started getting little rough and some of my downline started to leave, I said to myself "oh well - I'll just jump to the next one"

Here we are in 2007 and both of those companies are still around and there are several 6 -7 figure earners in both companies

I can't help but think that it could have been me.

Don't get me wrong, I do quite well for myself.

But had I just hung on little bit longer who knows how much more success I would have
The funny thing about success is that quite often it will be attained if you just take the next step. Often you will have to take several "next steps", and more often than not you have no way of knowing which "next step" will be the one where you cross over the invisible barrier to success

The unfortunate reality is that not to many of us actually have the tenacity to keep getting back up no matter how many times we fall down.

You can fight it all you want, but the REAL money, and I mean the
money that makes CEO's of Fortune 500 company's blush money is
in the follow up.

It is crucial to keep in contact with your downline. I've found the
best way to do it is to get some sort of autoresponder, load the
names and email addresses into it and write emails on a regular
basis to that list. Now, you have to make sure that the names
and email addresses you put into the autoresponder agree for you
to send them emails. You don't want to get charged with sending
spam.

Has anyone ever asked you, 'How hard do I have to work?'

Has anyone ever asked you, 'How hard do I have to work?' when it came to being successful in network marketing?

I hear it a lot. I talk to a lot of people. It kind of seems like a strange question, doesn't it?

I once tried to figure it out. You know, do the math behind it. It wasn't easy.

I first figured out how hard someone would have to work if they had a job their whole life. I had them start at age 25, because many people screw around at college or backpack across Europe, or bounce around from lousy job to lousy job and party for a few years. So I planned for 7 years after high school to enjoy the last remnants of youth before they were crushed by the work-a-day world.

Age 25. Welcome to your desk. You'll sit here from 9 am to 5 pm every day from Monday to Friday. You'll take a 10 minute break everyday at 10:15, and again at 3:00. Your lunch break is scheduled from 12:15 to 12:50 everyday. Every second Friday you'll get an envelope with $1750 a week. Only 40 years to go....

A working drone giving 40 hours a week, 50 weeks a year with two weeks off per year for good behavior, for 40 years of his or her life will ultimately give their employer 80,000 HOURS!

80,000 hours of your life. Even at $15 bucks an hour you'll make $1.2 million. At $50 grand a year, that's $2 million in lifetime earnings....

Then why are 95% of seniors unable to write a check for $500 bucks in their 'golden years'?

Wow, what a day!

My friends Brad & Amber just bought a nice 1.3 acres of Texas hill country property just south of Austin.

Man... Gorgeous!

A beautiful vista in the back over-looking the hills. A golf course in the works. A small lake stocked with bass and his next door neighbor is the Ambassador to Mexico!

Anyway, we took my truck out there because I've got my eye on the lot right next to theirs, and made a day trip of it.

These two kids just got married recently and after noticing the fantastic ring on Amber's finger, I asked her where they got it.

I am sometimes asked, “Why do so few people make it to the top of their network marketing system?”

The truth is, the top of the network marketing system is open to everyone—unlike traditional corporate systems, which allow only one person to reach the top of the company. The reason most people do not reach the top is simply because they quit too soon. So why would someone quit short of the top?

Reason number one, means that you come to the business primarily to change quadrants—to change from the E (Employee) or the S (Self-employed) quadrant to the B (Business owner) or I (Investor) quadrant.

This change is normally very difficult for most people—because of money. The true E or S quadrant person will not work unless it is for money. This is also what causes people to not reach the top of the network marketing system: they want money more than they want to change quadrants.

A B quadrant or I quadrant person will also work for money, but in a different way. The B quadrant person works to build or create an asset—in this case, a business system. The I quadrant person invests in the asset or the system.
The beauty of most network marketing systems is that you do not really make much money unless you help others leave the E and S quadrants and succeed in the B and I quadrants. If you focus on helping others make this shift, then you will be successful in the business.

As a B or an I, sometimes you don’t get paid for years; this, a true E quadrant or S quadrant person will not do. It’s not part of their core values. Risk and delayed gratification disturb them emotionally.

Delayed Gratification and Emotional Intelligence

One of the beauties of network marketing is that it focuses on developing your emotional intelligence as well as your business skills.

Emotional intelligence is an entirely different matter from academic intelligence. In general, someone with high emotional intelligence will often do better than someone with high academic intelligence but low emotional intelligence. That explains, in part, why some people do well in school but not so well in the real world.

The ability to delay gratification is a sign of higher emotional intelligence. In a recent study of emotional intelligence, it was found that people who could delay gratification often led more successful lives than those who could not.

This is why the educational system inherent in a good network marketing opportunity is so important. It’s the emotional education or emotional intelligence aspect of their programs that I find so valuable for people.

Many people write me and tell me they loved my book, Rich Dad, Poor Dad, but I fear that many of them don’t get the most important point of the book: Lesson #1, “The rich don’t work for money.”

Once I have built or bought an asset, that asset works hard to make money for me. But I will not work for money—I will work only to build or buy assets. Those assets make me richer and richer, while I work less and less. That is what the rich do. The poor and middle class work hard for money, and then buy liabilities instead of investing in assets.

What Kind of Asset is a Network Marketing Business?

Remember, there are two reasons required to be successful in network marketing: to help yourself, and to help others. Reason number one means helping yourself get to the B side of the quadrant. What about reason number two?

The beauty of most network marketing systems is that you don’t really make much money unless you help others leave the E and S quadrants and succeed in the B and I quadrants . If you focus on helping others make this shift, then you will be successful in the business.

If you only want to teach yourself to be a B quadrant and I quadrant person, then a true network marketing system won’t work for you. You may as well go to a traditional business school, which focuses only on your becoming a B quadrant person.

The beauty of a network marketing business is that your goal is to create assets, which are other B’s working under you—and their job is to create other B’s working under them. In traditional business, the focus is for the B to have only E’s and S’s working for them.

The type of business I was taught to build is a business with me at the top and E’s and S’s at the base. I really don’t have room at the top for many other B’s, which is why in my businesses, I strongly recommend that all my employees look into network marketing as their own part-time businesses.

The traditional corporate system really is a pyramid, because there are a few B’s and I’s near the top, and more E’s and S’s at the base. A network marketing system is a reverse pyramid: its primary focus is to bring up more and more B’s to the top.

One type of pyramid, the traditional type, has its base on the ground; the other type has its base in the air. It’s a pyramid that pulls you up instead of pushing you down. A network marketing business gives everyone access to what used to be the domain only of the rich.

Take these steps to get going on your business goals.

Decide exactly what you want in life in each area, and write it down. Make your goals clear, specific and measurable.
Specify the most important skill you could develop to move you into the top 10 percent of people in your field. Then do something immediately to begin developing that skill.
Identify the major constraint or limiting factor inside yourself or in your world that is setting the speed at which you achieve your most important goal, and begin working on removing that constraint today.
Determine your single biggest problem or obstacle in your business or personal life. Then focus all your time and attention on the possible solutions.
Make a list of what you would want to be, do and have if you had no limitations and you were absolutely guaranteed success.
Accept complete responsibility for your life. From this day forward, refuse to make excuses or blame anyone for anything. Instead, take action to make your goals a reality.
Reaffirm and visualize your goals of financial success, excellent health and personal happiness as a reality. Remember, the person you see is the person you will be.

Great Two Envelope Technique For Closing

Two envelopes that you can use to get instant presentations.

When approaching a prospect, have two envelopes ready.
On the outside of one envelope, write the word:

"Interested."

On the outside of the other envelope, write the words:

"Not Interested."

If the prospect is not interested in attending an
opportunity meeting, hearing about your business, or
reviewing a pre-approach package, look at your two
envelopes and give him the envelope marked, "Not
Interested."

The prospect might be curious enough about what is
inside the other envelope to change his mind and ask
for a presentation.

If the prospect is truly not interested, he can review
the contents of the "Not Interested" envelope at his
leisure. You can place some discounted coupons for your
product or service in this envelope, or maybe put in a
letter asking for referrals.

What can you put into the "Interested" envelope?

Use your imagination.

You could have an application, a catalog, testimonials,
a getting started CD, samples, or maybe coupons for
free training. The point of the exercise is that most
prospects want what is inside the "Interested"
envelope.

This is also a good technique to help you close at
opportunity meetings.

When I got involved in Network Marketing nearly 2 years ago, the first thing that my upline told me to do was make up a list of 100 friends and family members. That's where I was going to find my "business builders".

I'm sure that you were probably told the same thing too. In fact, nearly every network marketing company still teaches this old and outdated method of business building to their distributors.

As always, I'm here to tell you the truth about what it takes to build a massively successful Network Marketing business. Here are some essential FACTS that you absolutely need to know:

Lesson one: Leave your family and friends alone.

• "Warm market" business building statistics in Network Marketing have been tracked for over 25 years; the results never change. Distributors that focus on building a downline with their "warm market" have a success rate of .013. Yes, you read that correctly; that's about 1%.

• There are thousands, even hundreds of thousands of "ideal" prospects for your products, services and business opportunity out there. Your family and friends are probably not the best candidates. Your "ideal" prospects are those who come to you, ready to buy your products and join your business opportunity when you position yourself as an expert in your field (more about that later). Don't try to convince or persuade family members, friends, and co-workers to join you. The right people will come to you in greater numbers than you can handle.

• Network marketing pros DO NOT bother their family and friends. No joke! They know how to easily get more eager business builders and product users to come to them in droves with credit card in hand, ready to do business. This is a closely guarded strategy called "positioning" that took me 18 years to discover. The exciting truth is...anyone can learn how to do the same thing!
The last and probably the most important tidbit I'll leave you with is...
• The new generation of high earning Network Marketers don't use "warm market" techniques. They don't approach their family and friends. They don't do hotel meetings, 3 way calls with their upline, home parties, or buy $5 magic leads. Rather, they leverage themselves inexpensively with the latest marketing know-how that many wildly successful traditional companies use to build enormous national client bases.
